What makes Bottega Veneta
Sunglasses unique?
Bottega
Veneta Sunglasses
are unique pieces for having a recognizable design that does not go unnoticed.
They are handmade with materials of excellent quality. This design recognized
worldwide and so characteristic comes from the hand of its creative director Daniel
Lee, who made his intentions clear with his first collection FW19 and that
was the real revolution and subsequent consolidation for Bottega Veneta.
So much
does this revolution mean for the firm that they themselves baptize this new
golden stage as the “new Bottega Veneta” that they even make it clear on
their social networks that they changed the name to @newbottega.
Lee's
successes at the helm of Bottega were quickly seen and recognized and acclaimed
just as quickly. Perhaps, his most desired and still triumphant collection
today is SS20, which has been a source of inspiration (and low cost replicas)
of his handbags, mules and accessories such as sunglasses.
Handmade crafts
The history
of Bottega Veneta began in 1966 and was born with a clear motto of making a
difference and the desire to move away from the appearances of onomastics. That
clear motto is reflected in its name, since “bottega” means “workshop” in
Italian and “veneta” comes from the Veneto region (the place where it all began,
and which today still houses its headquarters).
And that is
really what they wanted to be, a workshop in Vicenza in the Veneto region in
which to manufacture their pieces in an artisanal way, handmade. It is
worth noting that the importance of the environment and handmade craftsmanship
shines through here.
Quality materials and
unique designs in each pair of glasses
We can say
and we affirm and assure that Bottega Veneta glasses are made with
excellent quality materials and their designs are the most different from the
entire catalog of Vytria, but at the same time captivate everyone because they
favor much in the face.
It also
makes clear the quality of the materials with which Bottega works in all its
pieces that undoubtedly this, coupled with the wonderful workshop in Veneto and
the craftsmen who worked there in the late 90s and early 2000s, was what
captivated the German designer Tomas Maier in 2001 to take over the
creative direction of Bottega Veneta after the purchase of the Gucci group.
The German
creative oversaw recovering the discreet elegance that characterized and
still characterizes Bottega Veneta sunglasses, eliminating the logo from the
creations and reclaiming the iconic braiding that we can see in fashion,
bags and, of course, in his glasses.
Variety of Bottega Veneta
Sunglasses Styles
Within the
catalog of Bottega Veneta sunglasses that you will find in Vytria you
will see that all of them are characterized by a discreet and elegant design,
but you will also discover a variety of shapes that you will fall in love with.
We offer you glasses with metal frames (almost always in gold, although it is true that we have some optical frames in silver), acetate sunglasses and an extraordinary combination of both materials. It is true that cat-eye sunglasses predominate in style, in their more rounded version or with more accentuated corners. But in Bottega Veneta sunglasses there are also square or aviator style frames.
