Off-White has always been strongly associated with its founder, Virgil Abloh. Even after his death, his legacy remains deeply rooted in what has become one of the most important figures in the fashion and urban culture industry. Currently, Ibrahim Kamara continues his legacy at Off-White as creative director.Why is Off-White the winner among the youngest audience? We currently live in a world of immediacy with increasingly demanding consumers. Brands must offer users more than just a product or service; what truly generates loyalty among consumers are the pillars that shape their identity and the valuable content of the brands. Experimentation and creativity is part of Off-White’s DNA. The brand has taken advantage of various platforms and formats, making it one of the most innovative and influential brands for the younger audience, including Generation Z and Millennials. On one hand, it uses social media as a way of expression using inclusive, fresh, and innovative language, often making use of its famous quoted messages. Additionally, the brand has its own platform, its own "television channel": Imaginary TV. Through this experimental channel, the brand showcases its creativity and brand values to users, offering content such as fashion films, collaborations with artists, and even talk shows. It is evident that the brand seeks to attract the attention of the younger audience, future and current potential consumers, particularly Generation Z. They achieve this through their storytelling, language, and formats, while also offering garments and accessories targeted at this increasingly demanding audience.The most-wanted among Millennials are Off-White garments From their iconic industrial belts to their acclaimed collaborations with Nike, Ikea, and others, which have become the most desired items. The brand does not limit itself, apart from clothing and sneakers, since 2021 they have also entered into eyewear.   New challenges: Off-White Eyewear and its best-seller "Virgil" Off-White Eyewear is relatively new; the first release was with Spring-Summer 2021 collection including only sunglasses. It wasn't until 2022 that they also added frames. What’s new with frame collection? Well, the brand has taken into account the increased screen time of younger generations, considerably higher than their predecessors. As a result, some of Off-White eyeglasses come with lenses that block blue light to protect eyes from screens. This is a significant initiative that only a few luxury brands have implemented. Although Off-White Eyewear is just getting started, its models are already a huge success, and many have become brand icons.  Off-White Eyewear Icons Off-White Spirit: Virgil Sunglasses The eyewear best-seller, without any doubt, is the "Virgil" model. As the brand highlights, "this model embodies the spirit of Off-White." It features an acetate frame with architectural lines, tinted lenses, and the white logo detail on the frame. It's a unique and distinctive model that you don´t want to take off. Signature style: Cut-out glasses A trademark feature of the brand is its "cut-out" style, which includes circular cut-out details on several of their eyewear models (and not only on eyewear) since their beginnings in eyewear industry. This particular detail is incorporated into their collections each season in different styles.
